Dogwood Land Management is essentially a one-stop shop for landowners with the need for a trustworthy, qualified company to improve their hunting land and keep it "turn-key" for their enjoyment. We are skilled, experienced land and wildlife management professionals who are passionate about the resources God has entrusted us with.

Chase Burns - President

Habitat Consultant

Chase attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale where he studied Wildlife Biology, before getting married, moving to western Illinois and starting his own construction and real estate investment company. Later, he gained valuable experience working in major contract oversight and quality assurance with the federal government. He has attained both the Deer Steward Level 1 and Level 2 certifications through the National Deer Association (NDA). Currently, Chase is President of, both, the West Central Illinois Branch and the Illinois State Chapter of the NDA and has received the award of "Branch President of the Year", by the national organization.

Chase is a full time real estate broker with LandGuys, who specializes in farms, hunting land and homes on rural acreage. He is YouTube content creator and a regular contributor to various widely-circulated outdoor publications, authoring hunting and habitat related articles. He and his wife, Jackie, are raising their two young sons as followers of Christ and future land stewards on their own intensively managed farm, located in Mercer County, Illinois.
